Free performance weekends and rehearsal times in Studio 1 / "Black Box"

If you are still looking for a performance venue or spontaneously have the time, desire and capacity to stage an event, please get in touch with us quickly! Our studio is available on the following days:

Conditions:

Rehearsal day 40,- € / 30,- € with residence

if applicable + 15,- €/ day for lighting equipment

Performance day 100,- € (lighting included)

16th SoloDuo nrw + friends international dance festival Cologne

May 10-12, 2024

 

For the sixteenth time, BARNES CROSSING (Freiraum für TanzPerformanceKunst) organized the international dance festival SoloDuo nrw + friends from 10-12 May 2024 in Cologne and once again cooperated with the Budapest SzólóDuó Táncfesztivál and the Almada Dance Company / Almada international Dance Festival.

 

The jury Roos van Berkel (NL), Bruno Duarte (PT) and Stephanie Thierisch (D) awarded the following prizes at the award ceremony on May 12, 15:00h ….

SoloDuo NRW + Friends

At our annual international dance festival SoloDuo, dancers of all ages perform over two days of events. Every year we invite renowned choreographers as well as newcomers of the independent dance scene to participate in our international dance competition.

We rent our two studios for production time, work process showings and events. Kitchen, shower, WC, seating corner and Wifi are inclusive.

Dance mediation projects

Beside artistic work some of our members focus on dance mediation projects in cultural education. Also BARNES CROSSING programmaticly concentrate on the variety of dance in connection with other art forms.
