Welcome to Barnes Crossing!
Open Space for
DancePerformanceArt
Barnes Crossing is a production center and network for contemporary dance and the performing arts in Cologne, self-run by choreographers.
On the grounds of the Kunstzentrum Wachsfabrik arts center, we create space for events, rehearsals, festivals and artistic experiments. For 20 years, this has been a place to show, discuss, celebrate and develop new work together.
20 Years of Barnes Crossing – JUBEL!
In 2026, Barnes Crossing celebrates its 20th anniversary. Two decades of productions, festivals, award-winning dance works, audience development, support for young artists and exchange! We are celebrating this anniversary with a varied program.
Rental
We rent out two versatile studios for professional dance artists: a large Black Box and a small White Cube.
