A planetary sphere rolls across the stage, or is it perhaps an ark or a cocoon house? A dancer glides between the folds and wrinkles of fabrics, between the waves of chiffon scarves, silk… Growing up is a metamorphosis. Blossoming, freeing oneself from the chrysalis, discovering, flying… CHIFFONNADE speaks of emancipation, of a child’s doll that grows without ceasing to become an adult.

About Teatro 4Garoupas

Teatro 4Garoupas presents a concept for young audiences that does not adhere to the familiar formulas of children’s and young people’s theatre conventions, but attempts to push the boundaries of what it means to make theatre for this audience today in an international context.
