STICKY FRAGMENTS – InGoodCompany “Minor Glitch”

A physical theater piece with creative audio description

“A glitch is an error, a fail, a non-functioning” – Legacy Russell

The transdisciplinary theater evening Minor Glitch embarks on a post-apocalyptic journey. While the world outside has already become a different one, three proto-types of Western financial capitalism continue to work inside in their bunker. Sometimes they are hustle culture types, sometimes start-up bros, sometimes fitness trainers or family fathers. The main thing is that they don’t notice what’s happening outside their window. “Luckily we’re inside and that, those, that is outside. It’s still always been beautiful here. There’s three of us here.” But the outside glitches and floods in until it destabilizes the system of the three. Inspired by Legacy Russell’s ‘Glitch Feminism,’ ‘Minor Glitch’ explores the transformative power a ‘glitch’ can have in the system and attempts utopian world building.

With the practice of “Aesthetics of Access”, where accessibility is integrated into the production from the outset with an artistic approach, the evening of theater should be equally accessible to a blind, visually impaired and sighted audience.
