S. Rudat, semi-professional musician from the so-called “Generation-WHY”, lands a real sand cake with his second best piece “Shame you WHAT?!”. In a mishmash of concert and “performance” he works on his “difficult” youth on stage. The theme of the evening is shame – bold, but not necessarily beneficial. The “dramaturgical” stringing together of scenes is attempted to be enhanced with unpredictable nudity.
In the process, the would-be star moves in a stage space of mordant colors. The costumes were apparently bought in a carnival store. Nothing really fits together. The sound design seems as confused as the tangled cables on stage. Minimalist lighting and cluttered video art complete the evening.
Make a mistake and waste your time. You will regret it and be relieved when S. Rudat finally leaves the stage to give you back your anorak. Here, shame and foreign shame are close to each other.
Content Information: Intensive auditory and visual stimuli are used. Thematically, trauma, discrimination, violence, gender and sexuality are negotiated.
